The privet has thick glossy and rounded wavy leaves. It prefers direct sunlight in the morning and part shade in the afternoon. They are evergreen shrubs with white flowers in Summer. After flowering they have black berries. This bonsai responds well to pruning and it is ideal for the beginner bonsai enthusiast.
